RDF - Pathfinder Paladin

Here is an almost finished model of the new addition to the Pathfinder family, the Pathfinder Paladin.

.

I have to add a few finishing touches to the vehicle in order to make it castable and just right, but once done it will be off to the casters and should be with us in the next few weeks.

It sits next to its brothers the Ranger and Archer as an upgrade rather than a stand-alone vehicle.
The Paladin is in essence a more heavily armoured version of the existing variants.
The Paladins skirts can be added to any of the Pathfinder vehicles and gives the vehicle much more resistance to heavy fire.

Next of course will be the Pathfinder Warrior, CQB variant.

The Paladin will be available as any currently available variant, so when it comes out you can buy it with the Ranger turret, the Archer turret or as a Pathmaster variant.

When the Pathfinder Warrior is made and on sale, you will be able to buy the Paladin with the Warrior turret and so on…

I shall be attending CRUSADE, a wargames show in Wales this weekend.

It is my first time there, fingers crossed for a good show and hopefully the snow will have gone by then....

Fame

There is a very nice chap I have been talking to via e-mail for a while now who for some unknown reason thought it would be good to interview me.

Here it is!

Junker Pre-orders

Yes, the Junker samples are in my hands and I have confirmed they are cool and must be moulded and cast.
Huzzzah!

The Junkers
These are colonists that after starting a new life have lost faith in why they started anew.
They started a new world to get away from the over populated, over taxed and under loved dump called Earth as they disliked the way it is run, they disliked the harsh laws and the huge taxes. They started a new world and loved it, but then as their colony developed, the need for laws and structure became clear, some folk started to take a dislike to it becoming yet another version of Earth.

Then as local law enforcers got hired and laws enforced, local taxes collected to pay for the community at large these people got angry/bored/sad and hated that they had become what they tried to get away from.

Seeing that their brave new world was just another Earth in the making, they left the populated areas and became like hermits, living on the fringes, hunting and scavenging to survive. Soon other like-minded souls joined them and the Junker community evolved.

I am now accepting pre-orders on them.

Next will be Junker Walls and then Junker Insurgents.

New Pads

Righty then.

New versions are designed and will be off to the printers in a few weeks.

I will let you know when these new ones are here and how they look!

Wonky Pads

I have received the printed masters of my OKI landing pads..

However there is a problem.
There should be 2 main sections:

A straight middle section and a semi-circle section.
The semi circle section is the problem, as you can see here:

The lines do not match up.

To correct this may prove too expensive to warrant.
I am hoping for a free fix and replacement printed parts, but if that does not happen then I think my only real option will be to sell wonky sections or no sections.

So my real question here is, if push came to shove would you buy these wonky ones?

Be honest, as if I go ahead and make them and sell them but no-one buys them that is money I could better spend on other things.

Supplies

I will be bringing these out at some point:

I have just had the files sent to me, so next time I get some 3D printing done, I will add these to the job and see if we can't get some cast up!

Website Updates

I have updated the gallery section of my website, seemed a bit odd still having pictures of my 6mm Napoleonics on there when I sell sci-fi stuff now.
The piccies are clickable to make them more bigable.

I have also removed the sold items from the bargain page and added a few more bargains, not as many as before but still bargainous all the same!

http://angelbarracks.co.uk/Bargains/bargains.html

The figures page now only has my own stuff as all the Plasmablast has been sold.

And the events page has been updated so you know what shows I plan on being at this year.

Plasmablast Sale

As most of you that know me are aware, I have been slowly clearing my stock to make way for my own range of 6mm sci-fi goodness.

So… This time I am selling off the last of my Plasmablast stock at a bargain price.
Each item is just £1.00 .

So yes, things that were £1.75 are now £1.00 !

Bargain-tastic!
